9/29/07 - Life Journal - Spirit, Give Me Speech

When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say; For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you are to say.
Luke 12:11,12

Jesus was instructing and warning His disciples. They would be questioned by the authorities and if they denied Him they would be denied by Him before God.

We also will be questioned by people intrigued by our life. It's sometimes hard to foretell what we could possibly say in these situations but have faith, the Spirit will give us the words we need. These will have a much greater effect than any pre-rehearsed speech.

Lord, keep me aware and have your Spirit with me in any opportunities.
