10/27/07 - Life Journal - A Light in the Darkness

"Yet now I urge you to keep up you courage, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship."
Acts 27:22

Through a visitation by an angel of the Lord, more evidence of God's plan to see Paul through to Rome becomes evident. God used the dire situation not only to show His glory by saving Paul, He saves the entire ship, possibly creating more followers in the sailors and soldiers.

Even in the midst of storms I need to be aware of His voice above the winds, striving to get my attention to bring Him glory in the bleakest of circumstances.

Lord, may I be Your witness in darkness so that Your glory would bring forth the Light.
