But none of the rest dared to associate with them; however, the people held them in high esteem.
Acts 5:13

The people had witnessed the deaths of Ananias and Sapphira for withholding a portion of their offering and lying to God and the Holy Spirit. Only the whole hearted follower dared associate with the Apostles after this.

What a convicting verse. Am I worthy of calling myself a Christ Follower? Of leading people in worship? Is my less than 100% detestable to God? Am I truly saved or is my falling short sentencing me to death?

Lord, I can't do this alone.
