10/21/07 - Life Journal - We've Got our Umpire

"In truth I know that this is so; but how can a man be in the right before God? If one wished to dispute with Him, he could not answer Him once in a thousand time."
Job 9:2,3

Job wishes for his "day in court" with God to dispute his perceived mistreatment. Unfortunately, he feels that God, in the majesty of His creation and His overwhelming awesomeness, has no time to deal with one insignificant man. He also believes that "there is no umpire between us." (vs.32) No mediator between man and God.

Thank you Lord for delivering your son for us, we have the "umpire" we need in Him. We cannot stand before You alone but if we confess Your Son's name on earth, He will confess our name before You.

Lord...You truly are awesome...I can't comprehend it...Thank You.
