Have we been abandoned?

Rev. John MacArthur makes some pretty bold statements in this audio from his Memorial Day sermon. I heard it this morning on 910am. Pretty strong but you can't help but agree with some of the parallels he relates with the early Israelites. He raises topics such as; Is modern-day America, which has forsaken godly principles in favor of rampant immorality, in danger of similar judgement? Will God abandon our nation as He did with Israel?
