Red Blooded Soccer Bashing

"Some sick folks want to build a $100 million soccer stadium in Chester, and they want the PA taxpayers to chip in. Soccer for males over the age of 10 is an outrage in itself and contains a social cost potentially higher than any casino. In addition to its subliminal communist format soccer also causes our children to become sissies. The fact that taxpayers would have to fund this stadium is worse than the pay raise. Most citizens were against public funding of the new stadiums for real sports teams, most recently the Penguins. If any penny of public money funds a professional soccer team in Pennsylvania the citizens should revolt. It is one thing when the government pays for something we want, but it is an abomination for the government a so-called sport that almost everyone hates or could care less about. The MLS makes the WNBA seem like the NFL. "
